Stay tuned as we continue these conversations with more women and share whats happening below the surface.Join our Discord Server! r/FeedTheBeast r/FeedTheBeastServers Welcome to /r/FeedTheBeast! About It is fascinating how similar yet diverse threads emerged. Some shared of how they experimented with letting go off domestic tasks to create time for self care and personal growth and how their families responded to this with a mix of cooperation and judgement. It has also opened up the Pandora's box of stereotypically defined gender roles and the induced conditioned beliefs that women mistake to be theirs. Some themes that emerged were disproportionate sharing of domestic responsibilities, blurred work life boundaries and an identity crisis of what it means to be a women. The stories corroborate with the data - The Pandemic has impacted the women deeply and much more so than men. We began the journey into our new initiative "The Conversation Circle" with our learning partners at TrainCraft. #theconversationcircle #traincraftcelebrateswomen #internationalwomensday2022 WHAT NEXT:- We will soon be posting a few Snippets of The Conversation Circle- How the Pandemic impacted Women in Workplaces We look forward to many more Conversation Circles which will enrich us as well as the participants on a range of thoughts and ideas and will definitely keep you all posted on the same. Our very first Conversation Circle was on the topic "Women in Workplaces" and we explored "How the Pandemic impacted Women in Workplaces". The discussions were extremely fruitful, interesting and brought in a variety of perspectives. WHAT: This is something we have been excited about and waiting to share with all of you. We connected with our Women stake holders and wooo- hooo, they were all on board. HOW: International Women's Day was the right time to launch The Conversation Circle on a topic which was very relevant to the current times. Dialogues on things which matter and which can drive change. WHY: We wanted to bring people together and have a dialogue. We thought of sharing the process which led us to the idea of The Conversation Circle. We have been talking about something recently that's become very close to our heart, ie The Conversation Circle.
